If you really need an old school AD&D fix I can't recommend this highly enough. You can also make your own characters but you can only have a party of four. You have to make your own map though but that can help immerse you into the game, and after you're done you can show it off it's like a badge of honor. This is forgivable as this is one of the granddaddies of Role playing games today, so if it weren't for this we probably wouldn't have the RPG's we enjoy today. It's a linear game so much so that you start the game off in the dungeon and find equipment as you go. It was released in 1995 therefore as the title suggests follows the AD&D rule set and remains truthful to them.

The game is compatible with the SNES mouse add-on but you don't really need it as the controls are responsive and functional without it.
